...the rise of the Hispanic electorate in the November 2012 elections.
...the expert and widely praised grilling of the President by Univision anchorpeople.
...the increase in Hispanic representation in the House of Representatives.
...the impact (some might call it "revenge") on Romney 's campaign by Hispanic voters from his right wing stance on immigration.
....the growing acceptance of legalized marijuana use in the USA by states, and the impact it may make on lessening both the flow of Hispanics to jails in the USA, and the strength of the cartels importing the stuff to the USA.
...the executive implementation of the Dream Act by the President.
...the continuing increase in the number and importance of Hispanic players in Major League Baseball.
...the Hispanic keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention
...the closing of the Museo Alameda, the Smithsonian Institution's first formal affiliate outside of Washington D.C. Museo Alameda's purpose was described as telling "the story of the Latino experience in America".
