Hispanic Jobs Hit Hard
It's hitting Hispanics hard...the recession means
Hispanics are losing jobs. And studies show Hispanics are losing jobs at
a faster rate that non Hispanics. One article from the Journal of
Business Valuation and Economic Loss Analysis states Hispanics are losing
jobs at a faster clip than non Hispanics.
Ok. So my question is, why is this affecting
Hispanics more? I'm going to hypothesize it's because of a few reasons.
They types of jobs...and the lack of language skills.
This has got to shape up, and we have got to get
Hispanics educated so they can take on jobs which are not focused on basic
labor. Also, we need to encourage the learning of English which will make
a big difference in getting promoted, and taking on jobs of greater complexity.
