6/11/07 -Shakira’s lookin’ to grab that next Oscar…okay maybe not an Oscar, but she’s definitely considering acting- a la Hollywood.
Shakira's looking at taking a long break from singing and checking things out on the acting side of life. For a while there, Shakira was chatting seriously there for a bit with acclaimed director Mike Nichols but it turned out she couldn’t make the acting production due to her heavy Oral Fixation tour. (She did over 110 tour gigs in Europe, the Americas, Africa, & Asia. Talk about banking some cash....)
Ok now, Shakira’s done touring, so she’s got some time to check out and eye any possible acting roles she’d like to check out.
