4/30/08-  Okay, so 25% of the population; the majority population in powerhouse voting states like California, Texas; growing at the rate of 1.7 million Hispanics a year and just getting more and more relevant every year....However...why aren't we voting mi gente?  7.6 million Hispanos voted Votein the 2004 election...out of an estimated 38,000,000 Hispanics at the time?  That's just about 20% of Hispanics putting their vote in the ballot.

Where are the Hispano voters hiding?  Why are Hispanos not standing up and having their votes counted.

So is it the immigration issue?  Is it a cultural thing?  Is it a language barrier thing?  Que pasa?  I'd just like to understand why we have no problem talking about politics...yet try and get us to the polls...and no ganas.  What's the deal?
