Hmmm...Hillary Touts Wide Appeal Among Anglo Voters

5/12/08- Ouch! In an interview last Wednesday with USA Today, Hillary was quoted saying she had a wider appeal than Obama among white voters. As such USA Today’s writes Hillary’s comments as: “I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," she said. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article that she said "found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."
I tell ya, real great (not!) way to haul in some minority votes… Bet her political consultants were just cringing in the sidelines…
Whew.
