Al Gore5/12/08- Potential Democratic VP’s?  Any Hispanics on that list?  Well of course we have Bill Richardson….(who some will hazard…was running for VP all along…)  He’s got a fairly decent name recognition among Hispanos, and could hazard a good chance….Anyone else?  Ken Salazar, the Democratic Coloado senator perhaps?…He’s 1 of 3 Hispanic senators elected since 1977.  Of course Salazar just assumed office in ’05, so some might argue…not enough experience.   Villaraigosa…LA’s mayor had stood a semi-decent chance…until he became surrounded in scandal after leaving his wife and dating a much younger woman last year.

Okay, so any other Hispano’s you think could fill the VP shoes?  Chime in…

Heard from a confidential source that Richardson lacks support from an important camp - the active Hispanic political women of New Mexico...

Would like to know if anyone else can substantiate this, and if so, elaborate on why that came to be?
