Why is a Brasilian Firm Ordering 5 TONS of Fat Replacement?
2/18/07 - If you’re a Brasilian firm called Kraki, you’ve got 5 tons of a fat substitute called Z-Trim coming your way. According to a press release, Z-Trim is a “natural, zero calorie fat substitute made from the hulls of corn of oats.
Why does Kraki want a fat substitute? Well Kraki is re-selling the product to a customer to use in its over 2500 products. The names of the products weren’t named but they include chicken, turkey, pork…etc. Z-Trim is also used in sweet baked goods, dairy products, dressings etc.
So it just may well be coming to a food near you. Do Brasilian’s really need fat replacement? I thought they just had naturally perfect bodies. (Besides maybe a little plastic surgery here and there for some of course…)
