I think it's great though that your signif. other is in Berlin, and you're there because he is there.  I agree, I've lived all over the world, and even though I love every intl. city I've lived in, I feel the U.S. is truly home. I'm originally from San Antonio, and while I live on the east coast in DC, I go back to S.A. every once in a while, and that is truly home.  I get the best sleep there, and just all the tex-mex food I was raised on.
