Eyeliner

Did you know eyeliner was first used in ancient Egypt?  Amazing!  And we still use it to this day…

We know eyeliner is a staple of many Hispana’s makeup bags, so the trick here is to apply it correctly.  We’ve seen a lot of Latinas who wear the same amount of eyeliner be it day or night.  The amount of eyeliner you use should depend on your destination…work, going out, hanging out with friends etc.

To apply eyeliner for day, use a natural kohl pencil and blend the liner into the lash area.

For a smoky eye, use a thicker line, and smudge the eyeliner.  Then apply a dark shadow over the line to set.

Eyelashes

Eyelashes are fun to use, but proper application is key, or else you might find yourself out on the town with an eyelash in your drink!  (We hope not!) It’s good to test out putting these on at home, and then once you get comfortable with the process, then debut them on the town.  Eyelashes are a great way to draw emphasis to your eyes.  A good way to start too is with the eyelashes you can put on at just the corners of your eyes, so it isn’t obvious to all that you are wearing eyelashes!

Mascara

Mascara is wonderful and can really open up your eyes.  How to put on?
